Two Medical Statistician positions @ Liverpool

We are looking to recruit 2 Medical Statisticians. This is an opportunity to work in partnership with highly motivated researchers from a diverse range of disciplines and make a major contribution in the field.
These posts are part of a new recruitment drive to support the expansion in clinical and public health trials at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. You will have the opportunity to work in partnership with highly motivated researchers from a diverse range of disciplines and make a major contribution in the field. The School works on diseases that cause a high burden in low and middle income countries, which include HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, Neglected and Emerging Tropical Diseases and acute lower respiratory infections. We support phase II/III clinical trials of new diagnostics, drug treatments and vaccines and large scale global health trials evaluating strategies of health care delivery.

Lecturer in Biostatistics at University of Liverpool

MRC NORTH WEST HUB FOR TRIALS METHODOLOGY RESEARCH, DEPARTMENT OF BIOSTATISTICS

We are seeking an individual to play a leading role in the MRC NWHTMR and CTRC, including to further develop our portfolio of research in early phase clinical trials with the MHRA Phase I Accredited Royal Liverpool University Hospital Clinical Research Facility.
You will join a national network of methodologists, http://www.methodologyhubs.mrc.ac.uk/, undertaking work that will ‘Improve health by improving trials’. The post is available for 36 months.

Open position at Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology

The Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology is recruiting a postdoc (3 years) in biostatistics.

The aim of the project is to study DNA methylation in relation to solar ultraviolet radiation exposure and risk of cutaneous melanoma. A unique Norwegian cohort and biobank coupled with clinical data on melanoma, form the basis for the project.
